ABOUT US
MISSION
The Schuylkill County Scream Queens is an amateur
roller derby league engaged in promoting, sanctioning and participating in local and national
competitions, developing amateur athletes for competition, and promoting physical and mental
strength of female athletes.
SCSQ seeks to empower our community by bringing the sport of roller derby to our county. We want to inspire our community by providing a positive outlet of athleticism and sportswomen ship by revolutionizing the role of women in sports.
Not only do we want to promote health, but also become positive role models by getting out there and making a difference in Schuylkill County
OUR STORY
The Schuylkill County Scream Queens were founded in 2018 with only a small hand full of skaters and have since grown into a thriving WFTDA member league of over 40 skaters, refs and officials as well as A and B level teams.
When we don't train or compete, we love to give back to our community through charity work, volunteering, and partaking in local events.
COMMUNITY
We love to volunteer. Whether it is to raise money or serve our community through volunteering, we are eager to give back to the people of Schuylkill county in any way we can.

We adopted a stretch of Tumbling Run Road in our home town of Pottsville, PA. Each year we take a day to clean up trash to help keep our city beautiful.
